If you give out joy, the universe will bring you more joy. If you give out anger or sadness, the universe will bring more anger or sadness back to you - this is the universal Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction is universal, it operates from morning to night every day of the year. As an example let’s look at gettting out of bed and getting dressed. What happens when you reach in your sock drawer and can’t find a single pair of matching socks! Frustration and the Law of Attraction is going to send this back to you - All day!
Imagine the scene, you draw out one, then another, then another - and they are all single odd socks. Are you becoming frustrated? Remember the Law of Attraction states that this frustration will come back on you later.
Finally found a matching pair? Now rush through your routing and see how that frustration brings back more frustration - you spill the cereal, drop the milk carton, your kids scream! By the time you are on the highway you are really frustrated and thats when you accidentally cut up another car.
The other driver is now in a rage - he gets to work seething and shouts at his PA. She seethes all day and then goes home in a rage. Hey presto, you are driving down the highway having finally calmed down when the same PA cuts you up, sparking off the frustration again. All for the lack of a pair of socks!
Now there are two ways to approach this. Firstly you can find a way of pairing up your socks and you could try employing an odd sock bag technique.
Alternatively you could release your desire to find a matching pair of socks. A method called the Sedona Method is helpful here. Personally I use the odd sock bag and this method combined. Here’s how it works:
If you want something then you are at the same time telling yourself you lack it. You are also by implication resisting the fact that you will ever get a pair of socks - this is human nature and a fact, just think about it. So long as you are telling yourself that you lack a pair of socks the universe will bring this fact into being and will resist your efforts to find one. That’s why the Law of Attraction Works!
