Ask anyone and they will tell you that the perfect massage can be a very euphoric process. If one was to learn how to create the perfect massage, then they would likewise have a very exciting romance life and better chances at finding the perfect relationship. Thus, learning how to massage can be a very important goal indeed.

Before giving the massage, one needs to decide on what type of lubricant is going to be used. The most popular type of lubricant is the water-based lubricants, although oil-based and other massage lubricants are available. If one doesn’t like the oily feeling of lubricant, some alternatives such as talc powder can be used instead.

Instead of just targeting one sense, the sense of touch, it is often better to simply target sight and smell as well. Doing so will give a better environment for the recipient of the massage to take in all the pleasant senses, which leads to more relaxation and stress relief. The best option in this case is to buy scented candles, or at the very least obtain incense to create the mood.

The ideal massage will release endorphins- which are natural body narcotics that reduce stress and pain receptors, and make a “feel good” feeling instead. Releasing endorphins is as easy as putting the recipient of the massage in a very good mood. When this mood is entered, it can generally last a couple of hours before any noticed recession in euphoria is noticed.

When giving a massage, it is important to note that not all massages should be deep muscle massages all the time. This can lead to pain, sensitivity, and generally doesn’t feel that great. Although deep muscle massages are indeed good when used sparingly, it’s important to always incorporate lighter massages into the mix as well.

On the opposite end of the massage spectrum we have feather massages, which are barely a massage at all! These massage techniques simply require that you barely touch the skin. The feeling that results is very unique- but will only be experienced for a short time. Thus, feather massages and deep muscle massages should both be used sparingly, whereas basic massage techniques should be used more.

As a last note, it should be noted that one should only give regular and periodic massages if they are indeed gifted in the arts of massages. Otherwise, extended exposure to a massage that is being performed incorrectly can lead to back problems or other muscle problems that may be hard to fix. Thus, it is usually best to checkout a book or take a class to learn more about proper techniques.

The ideal massage is one that releases endorphins. Therefore, one should always try and stimulate every sense present in order to have the best possible chance to create the euphoric effect of the perfect massage. In the end, taking a class or finding out more from books and videos is always a good idea.
