If you have broken up with your ex and getting your ex back is the number one thing on your mind, you are probably not feeling too good just now. A break up is painful at any time, let alone when you still care for your ex.

Thoughts about your ex, and thoughts about how you can get your ex back are probably filling your mind to the exclusion of almost everything else right now. It is almost impossible to come up with a sensible plan for reversing the situation when your thoughts are in such a jumble.

Getting your ex back may not be the easiest thing you have ever done. But it isn’t impossible. There are ways to make it happen.

While there may not be an instant, magical solution to your problem it doesn’t have to be a long, painful and confusing process either. You need to develop a strategy. But before you can do anything you have to get your emotions in check.

No strategy for getting you ex back will work unless you achieve the right state of mind - be realistic but positive too. And most of all, stop feeling sorry for yourself and wearing your heart on your sleeve.

Even if you don’t feel at all normal do your best to act in a normal manner. Don’t miss work or classes, go out with friends. Do all the things you would normally do. The key here is to pretend you feel ok in spite of feeling wretched.

Does this seem an impossible task given the swirl of emotions in your head? Well it isn’t. Be an actor. Pretend you feel fine. Pretend all is right with world. Surprisingly, if you do this, you will almost certainly start to actually feel better.

The first step to getting your ex back is to get your emotions levelled out and your mind thinking clearly. Only then should you start working toward getting your ex back.
